Transport Minister: Company and Drugged Driver to Face Legal Action
Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced that the transport company and the drug-impaired driver involved in the recent crash in Pekan, Pahang, will face legal action. The crash caused 4 injuries and 2 deaths. Loke emphasized the Transport Ministry’s zero-tolerance policy for drug-impaired driving and promised ongoing nationwide enforcement actions. He urged heavy vehicle companies to take responsibility for their drivers’ actions and enforce strict safety standards.
