The Deadly Incident

SEPANG: A deadly crash in Cyberjaya left four people dead after their car collided with a road divider.

Timeline and Cause of the Accident

The incident, which occurred on Thursday (Nov 21) near IOI Conezion Putrajaya, was confirmed by Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Norhizam Bahaman. The car, which had been traveling from Kajang, lost control and crashed into the divider.

Investigation and Postmortem

“All four victims were transported to Putrajaya Hospital for postmortems,” Norhizam stated, adding that investigations are still in progress. Authorities are urging witnesses to come forward to assist in the investigation.

Reports on the Victims’ Identity

Sinar Harian reported earlier that the vehicle was carrying four Malaysians, two men and two pregnant women, aged between 20 and 40. Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, Assistant Director (Operations) at the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, informed Sinar Harian that when rescue personnel arrived, three of the victims were already deceased, and one woman was critically injured.
