Nationwide Victim Numbers Drop Slightly

As of the latest update, the total number of flood victims nationwide has decreased to 140,896, down from 148,024 earlier in the day. While the reduction offers some relief, numerous areas are still facing significant challenges in managing the crisis.

Rising Numbers in Johor and Pahang

In Johor, the number of flood victims rose sharply to 728 individuals across 199 families, requiring the establishment of additional relief centres. Meanwhile, Pahang has reported an increase to 1,230 victims, with key districts such as Raub and Jerantut still grappling with the impact of the floods.

Melaka and Perlis Monitor Situations

Melaka has seen a slight increase in evacuees, particularly in Jasin district, while Perlis has experienced a decrease in victim numbers. The situation in Perlis remains relatively stable, with 69 victims still being housed in temporary shelters.
