RM42mil Invested in Putrajaya’s Green Infrastructure
KUALA LUMPUR: The government allocated RM42mil for the maintenance of Putrajaya’s parks and landscapes from 2014 to 2023.

Dr. Zaliha Mustafa noted that the funding was allocated to an area spanning 1,873 hectares, including several major parks and recreational zones.

These funds helped maintain Taman Saujana Hijau, Taman Rimba Desa, Taman Wetland, Taman Putra Perdana, and various residential areas, along with a lakefront covering 38% of Putrajaya.
Additional RM2.6mil for ASEAN-Related Landscaping
To prepare for Malaysia’s ASEAN chairmanship, an additional RM2.6mil was spent on beautification and landscape improvements.
