KUALA LUMPUR: Authorities are investigating seven individuals, including a lecturer and students from Universiti Malaya (UM), following reports of cat deaths on campus.

City police chief Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa stated that an animal rights activist submitted a cat carcass on Dec 21, which has been sent to a veterinary lab for autopsy.

Parking Lot Discovery Deepens Case

“Another dead cat, located on Dec 25 near the sports faculty parking area, will also be analyzed. The autopsies are slated for Dec 27,” he said on Dec 26.

Calls for a Transparent and Thorough Inquiry
