
Johor Police Conduct Successful Operation
JOHOR BARU: A roadblock operation in Johor resulted in eight arrests for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs along Jalan Daya and Jalan Mutiara Emas Utama.
Details of the Operation
The “Ops Mabuk” operation was conducted between 1am and 5am on Tuesday (Nov 26). According to Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat, six people were arrested for driving while intoxicated with alcohol levels exceeding the legal limit. Two other individuals were arrested for reckless driving against traffic and testing positive for drugs.
Arrests and Summonses Issued
All suspects were granted bail and will face court proceedings in Johor Baru.
The operation saw 116 people inspected and 97 vehicles were checked. In total, 40 traffic summonses were issued for violations such as failing to wear seat belts and driving without a valid license.

ACP Raub reminded road users that impaired driving is a serious offense that puts lives at risk and encouraged everyone to follow traffic laws for safer roads.
